There are two variations of FrameBlender. This page discusses
FrameBlender for QuickTime, a Movie Export component which works with
MoviePlayer and similar programs.

FrameBlenderQT version 1.0 b3 is the third public beta release.
FrameBlenderQT is a QuickTime Movie Export component and can be used
with Apple MoviePlayer or any product that supports Movie Export
Components.
This version is compabatible with QuickTime 2.5 through QuickTime 5
using MoviePlayer 2.5, MoviePlayer 3.0 Pro etc. on Macintosh.
FrameBlender exploits oversampling to remove noise from still images
captured with video equipment.
- First capture multiple frames of your scene with Apple Video Player or other software of your choice.
- Save the resulting movie as a QuickTime movie and open it in Apple MoviePlayer.
- Choose export... and then choose Movie as FrameBlended Pict from the popup menu.
- Click the Options... button to set the compression options for the Pict.

To install FrameBlenderQT:
- Drop it onto your System Folder, it needs to be stored in the
Extensions folder.
- You may need to increase the memory allocated to MoviePlayer by 1 or
2 MB.
